What’s with the bus?
After several design awards and magazine articles focused on our office space, it’s probably time to come clean on the reason we have an actual double-decker bus from Great Britain in our office. Here’s our answer:
We find that a unique workspace makes the creative spirit soar. It’s a reminder that there is always more than one way to approach anything, and always a creative solution.
The double decker-doubles as a design library on the first floor and a meeting room on the upper deck. So it’s actually very functional. Just like the rest of our office.
We turned a warehouse into a spacious, yet functional space, with design pods, a viewing area, brainstorm areas, storage space and conference rooms. There’s also a conference room with a two-way mirror for focus groups and research sessions.
You’ll also find a phone booth from the UK, an Airstream trailer that houses our servers, and a small, but calming water garden that helps if the brainstorming gets too stormy.
Our clients think it’s fun and interesting. So do we. And we’re proud of the accolades we’ve received about our workspace. But we’re even more proud of the work that we’re inspired to do in that space.
