Hold on a minute and take a step back. You forgot the most important thing you need to understand before doing anything for your new website is to understand the needs of your users.
Did you make any New Year’s resolutions for 2012? I know I did. How are we doing with those now that February has arrived? Chances are not very well. I know I’m not doing too well…although I’m not quite sure resolving to get six-pack abs in 6 weeks was quite realistic.

Back in July, my colleagues and I had the opportunity to spend a couple of days at the Northern Home for Children where we hung out with the kids and painted an awesome mural on their grounds.
This holiday weekend, I’m fortunate enough to be able to give thanks for more than a few things. Family, friends, food, and turning 23! Although an insignificant birthday, this year marks my first year out of school and into the real world of 5-day work weeks, car payments, bills, and student loans.
Having had the pleasure of growing up in the 80s, I am fortunate to remember things like Care Bears, Popples, and Atari (my siblings and I were usually gifted game consoles a good year or two after everyone else had them and prices had dropped on Atari as soon as Nintendo reared its multi-functioning-controller head). Another brand reigning true amidst my 80s nostalgia — one which far-outlasted my beloved Popple and Atari — is that of Maxell.
