Creativity and W³ Awards

Plymouth Meeting, Pa.—Dec. 8, 2009—Bailey Brand Consulting received five design awards at the 39th Annual Creativity Awards and one web design award at the W³ Awards. The award-winning entries featured work for a range of clients including Twinings, Welch’s, Lucid and Kimball Communications.

The Twinings USA Website (www.twiningsusa.com) received Gold at the W³ Awards and Silver at the Creativity Awards.  Bailey redesigned Twinings’ website with more sophisticated graphics and engaging content to solidify Twinings’ position as the tea expert. One example is a section on the site dedicated to “Tea Time,” where content speaks exclusively to the Twinings tea experience and includes recipes for brewing the perfect cup. The creative team also reorganized the navigation and information architecture on the site while providing a more user-friendly interface.

“We’re pleased to have had the opportunity to energize some very prominent brands,” said Steve Perry, Bailey’s creative director. “While our focus is always on doing what is strategically correct for our client’s brands, it is nice to be recognized for doing so with a superior level of creativity .”

Twinings Flavored Black Tea Packaging received Honorable Mention at the Creativity Awards. In the re-launch of the Twinings premium Flavored Black and Chai Tea brands, Bailey succeeded in modernizing the Twinings brand, capitalizing on consumer trends and better communicating the product’s key antioxidant/health benefits.

Welch’s Diet Juice Cocktails Packaging received Silver at the Creativity Awards. Bailey redesigned Welch’s Diet Juice Cocktails packaging to target health conscious women who wanted a flavorful, lower calorie, lighter-tasting juice drink.

The Lucid Website (www.drinklucid.com) received Silver at the Creativity Awards. Bailey’s redesign of the Lucid Absinthe website created a user-friendly, interactive experience that presents the brand in a more visually stimulating, sophisticated manner. An expanded interactive drink section increased repeat visits, a new site map improved navigation, and more relevant content engaged both the business and consumer audience.

The Kimball Communications Logo (www.kimballpr.com) received Silver at the Creativity Awards. By juxtaposing a speech bubble with the letter “K,” Bailey combined two simple elements to create a unique, ownable and intuitive mark that also captured the essence of the results-driven public relations agency.

This year, the 39th Annual Creativity Awards received thousands of entries from 37 countries and 37 U.S. states.

The W³ Awards, which honor outstanding websites, web marketing, and web video, this year received nearly 3,000 entries. A complete list of W3 Award winners can be found at: www.w3award.com.
