Having long established themselves as a beloved heritage confectionary brand in Australia, Darrell Lea was at a disadvantage when entering the US market both online and on shelf. They enlisted Bailey’s help in developing the brand in this new market via the creation of a US-specific website and redesigned packaging.
The new look and feel started with a premium brand identity that speaks to their heritage (Since 1927) and finishes off with mouth-watering flavor and product imagery and authentic Aussie cues. The end result is a sophisticated yet warm & inviting look and feel that provides an escape for the consumer. In fact, Darrell Lea’s new branding was so well-received that it has since been extended internationally.
